Alright, you have been given an opportunity. You've been allowed to pass one law. This law must be followed by all law abiding citizens. What say you?

I would pass a law where in order to operate a motor vehicle it would be mandatory to have at least two passengers not including the driver or a load (to be loaded and unloaded) exceeding 100 lbs. i.e. laundry, sandbags, flour.

I've already used up my one law. Will somebody please pass a law against using absurd rationalizations to justify passing two laws when you're only allowed to pass one? Also, please specify that the penalty is death. (Note: this still counts as one law.) Thanx!

One law? I would outlaw the manufacture, sale, ownership, import, export (particularly to fucked up third world countries) of all projectile and explosive weapons. Yes, including your precious guns, rockets, grenades, nuclear missiles. All that shit just needs to be GONE FROM THE ENTIRE PLANET. Any countries that don't agree should be subject to total trade embargo. The money saved should go into public transport, health care, education, and feeding and housing the hungry. You know, shit we actually need.
Could be tricky to enforce, though.

Stop the manufacturing of automobiles and put all that time and energy into the research and development into a greener way of travel for the public; be it bicycle programs, transit system upgrades, subway extensions or whatever. There are plenty of cars out there now...there is no need for even more
