New ride concept

One of the biggest problems confronting Midnight Ridazz are riders who do not respect others. To solve this problem, ride organizers have tried many solutions: speeding up the ride, keeping the ride a secret or removing liquor stops. These have all had their successes, but with each solution, something is lost.
I'd like to propose a new solution: Deception!
This ride would start in front of a police station. Anyone who has a bad attitude toward cops would leave at this point. This will also give the officers a chance to talk to the cyclists and get a positive impression of what we are about.
As the ride pulls away, the music trailer begins to play the soundtrack to The Sound of Music. Those without appreciation for musicals will now begin asking "isn't there another ride tonight?" to which we will reply, "Dank Budz Critical Mass is on the other side of town! If you leave now, you can make the start!" This should get rid of anyone who prefers smoking weed to riding bikes.
By this time, there should be only a few ridazz who know what's going on, perhaps a few confused yet curious newcomers and a few more law abiding musical-lovers. When we get to our first stop, the ride organizers yell "surprise!" and switch the soundsystem to Iron Maiden, and pull beach balls and jumpropes out of their backpacks.
The ride continues with a responsible amount of drinking.
