but it still doesnt explain on what doctors have to deal with.
there has to be an MD that's an MR rider that can explain his/her side of the story.

If the government ran health care, the drug companies wouldn't be able to bribe doctors to prescribe medications that you don't need and that don't even work!

what i meant was, do you know how crazy your work load as a doctor would be?
i mean, with all the paperwork they would have to go through, they wouldnt even have time to see a patient.
their productivity would drop like fucking crazy.
and if the public was fucking smart enough, they'd see the doctors BEFORE shit gets real.
the stupid fucking people of the public only go to a doctor when shit hits the fan.
these idiots don't believe in preventive medicine.
if the public kept up on prevention, our problems with the med industry wouldnt be so fucking gnarly.
but no, jonny fatfuck got diabetes because he ate too many burgers, now doctors have to through loads of paperwork and spend time on that shit instead diagnosing patients, etc etc.
and with the deficit we have right now, how is it even possible to get this off teh ground without taxing the folks who make money up the ass?
why the fuck should i get my hard earned dollar taken away because so and so couldnt go on a decent low salt diet?
fuck that.
i'm all about helping my neighbors out in times of need but fuck giving out freebies to fucking bums that cant get their shit together.
i fucking busted my ass off to get decent job that gives me health insurance.
and so can you if you get off ur ass and start being more proactive.
if you're sick, tough shit. you didn't take care of yourself.
learn to live with your actions.
the only exception i have are for folks who had no choice in their actions. people with diseases from birth, etc/

Right now, under privatized health care, some doctors get paid by the number of patients they see. Therefore, you get rushed through the office, they prescribe you some pill, and you are done...so they can get to the next patient, run them through the office prescribe them a pill, etc.
Under public health care, there is no such incentive and therefore would probably receive higher quality doctor care

What are you supposed to do if you don't have insurance? What if you can't afford a regular check up?
The reality is that health insurance companies don't believe in preventative care either. Are you kidding? That costs money...Health insurance companies have an interest in you being sick. That way you keep buying pills from them. Then when you need surgery they deny you coverage.
Health insurance companies are all about profit, they have zero interest in keeping people healthy.

you can't be serious. What about people with cancer? Haven't you ever got a fucken cold?
In addition, YOU have a GREAT interest in keeping the people around you healthy. If the population is all diseased and sick, YOU ARE MORE LIKELY TO GET DISEASED AND SICK.
fucken A they got you with the propaganda.
Seriously watch sicko. I'm not joking watch that shit it will open your eyes

I like what Obama is saying about the public option. Unfortunately, I know that the mainstream media will filter all of his words out...

I've decided that the only news channel worth watching is CSPAN. where you can hear the president in his entirety. the filter that is the advertiser supported media is going to twist all his words and intentions up. the man is trying. he is... but he is not the most powerful entity in the world as some would claim he too has to answer to money interests and that makes his job insanely difficult.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if he backpedals on the public option. The corporations have a hold on him just like any other president. He's already changed his tune since he first brought it up.
Is DTV supposed to get CSPAN? The only news I get is the bullshit not even worth watching (chs. 2-13). I prefer MSNBC, but that's because I like left-leaning news. hah.

@ KIMS
also, did you know that we are, what, the ONLY developed, "democratic" country in the world that does not have some sort of Universal health care?
Are you aware that up until fucken Nixon health care in this country was non-profit?
If this public option doesn't go through, I'm looking for jobs in the EU come 2011. fuck this shit hole.
