Hey wsup gang, i figured it was time for the SGV to get into the mix and we should mob this part of town. Something new to see perhaps? A new adventure a new day. So come on out and get your bike "fix" and help support the SGV ridazz!!! what do u guys say? anyone else down? if it conflicts with something else we can change it to another night if u guys wish.

I dig rolling the SGV and normally I'd be down but March 3 is the day before the bike tour and marathon. Count me in for future ones though!

Memo to myself: hit up CVS tommorow for another bottle.
Hmmm. Oh wait...maybe you could hook me up.
See you March 3, busta.

hope to see many of you on the 3rd of March. anyone coming out from the East End Ridazz area? i hope that making the starting point near the goldline helped out for some. Anyone taking the train to the ride? oh yah, the ride isn't going to be a super quick pace or anything. it's just going to be a cruise for the most part. drinking and gettin lit is encouraged.

I'm going. I am looking forward to the ride...most of the time, I ride right through that area into LA. So, I haven't really been in the area much.
Yeah...East Enders are represented!
I'll spread the word

Looks like a nice route. Are we riding clockwise or counterclockwise? I didn't really follow the numbers on the points.
tern02.8.07 - 6:38 pm

we'll be going counter clock wise because of the downhill section going south out of pasadena. thanks for the support Tern....
t.bone02.9.07 - 9:10 am

No thanks needed. I am should be the one thanking you: thankyou! I guess you could call it support, but you, my friend, are providing me with a really fun ride to go on. I can't say that 'we are legions,.' but I've already found a few people who are up for the ride out to SGV. I'm looking forward to it. By the way, are you up for a rainy metric century tomorrow morning? I sure am. Some friends and I are riding it as a wakeup call / big conditioner for the Dark Century. We need to put some mileage in. If you go, I'm the guy with a beard and a blue Masi.
tern02.9.07 - 4:58 pm
reply
Yeah, Gordo! I'm glad your going to go on the Pill ride. We could ride out together, although I know that you will have another twentyish miles of slight uphill / slight downhill overall. We can do a scouting ride in your area for darkcen earlier in the day...then hang out at my house for a while, if you want. That way, I could meet you down there at Whittier Narrows. If you aren't feeling like making the last part of the ride home, you can crash in my living room--your friends that ride with you included, if you bring any. Or you could drive. I'm sort of locked into riding out because there are a few other east enders who will be riding out with me.

Yeah ride out folks! it's gonna be a blast. i tried to make it non-uphill as possible. but there's a couple of weak ones, so no worries. i got about 6 of my friends that are supposed to come out that night too. Yo Drew, good lookin out on the hommies by lettin em crash at ur place. Bring more heads!!! i should have spoke cards too!

CORRECTION, FuzzBeast, Gordo (et al)...looks like this one meets up pretty early. Let's meet up earlier in the afternoon...how about 4:30. We can ride out and then get something to eat...didn't the sticker on the pill bottle say "take with food?"

let me know if u guys have any ideas on how we can make the ride a lil more fun, rememberable and satisfying. I'm thinking of a place to stop (besides the liquer store) where we can chill, grab a drink, or eat. There's several food spots that we're gonna be passing from fast food to sit down, a boba drink spot (buy 1 get one free!), a lil park, and the santa anita mall. let me know if u guys got suggestions, i'm open to them.
t.bone02.19.07 - 1:47 pm

yo tern I think I'll definitely be riding out for this one. I'll hit you up for a good route to your place before then. Sounds good, we can roll out early and get some grub, then chill and wait for the festivities to start. Old town is not too far and theres plenty of places to eat/drink around there.
I GOT THE FEVER BABY!!! Only one pill can cure me...

Pace should be totally kick back. No wolfpack here. It'll be a nice ride and I've always wanted to ride that part of town. UFO was some what close... but yeah... kick back.
digablesoul03.1.07 - 7:54 pm

yah definately a kick back ride. this area of town is not as busy as the city. we'll be listening to some tunes and cruisin. we'll take a few breaks in between or whatever u guys can think of.

Gee, thanks for telling us your not going to be at the ride. What the point of telling us your not coming. Who cares, so your not coming. What, should we prepare something for that. Are you the guy who fixies everybodies flat, should we hire a bike mechanic for the night. Or do you bring apple puree, so I don't go hungry on the ride.

I had talked with the creator during the scarf ride last week about attending. So that message didn't pertain to you whatsoever. By the way, try to mind your own business kid. Feels like I'm at work again...
Oh I'm sorry, are you in need of attention? How can I help you today?
cyclohexanol03.4.07 - 12:56 pm
reply
yeah...lets meet up to scout sometime in the morning, this Saturday. I will ride out to your area...nearish to the meetup for the Pill Ride, no? I'm thinking it will be 40ish miles. To get from there to the path and ride a little bit, it will take that range.
Is the date / time okay with you? Let me know in email.
Thanks for a planning a great ride, man--last night was really fun.
