I was at the bbq when this happened so I don't know the full facts but I was told that a squad car rolled up,flashed their light at the waiting riders and told them they can't meet there anymore.
After almost 2 years all of a sudden we are getting harassed?

 Is it because it's private property and the owner request such or is LAPD harashing Ktown because of the media coverage? (Does somebody live at that building? Is it the building parking lot?)

 Do you know if the owner of the property request this? or did LAPD pressure the property owner to have this happen? Does any leader or member of Ktown live in that building?

 Remember when the LAPD officer was caught on tape kicking a CM/People's Ride ride, and immediately after they were publicly confronted with the evidence they suddenly decided that Critical Mass was a public menace that they needed to very conspicuously control and monitor? Well yeah. Expect a lot of this, especially after the press conference.

 By that, I mean, if the LAPD can screw up without anyone raising their voice, lest they policing people more, then that move will just further damage their rep with the community they have been trying to supposedly build.

 Just another case of the MR Ball of yarn being unraveled by outside powers as usual.

It was good while it lasted, but unfortunately we'll all have to move on whether it be under our own volition, or City Heat breaking out the can-of-asswhip.
