Anson's Hit and Run at large

With everyone whining and bitching about Jared Letos' entrance at the VMAs, everyone forgot an important issue that Anson was in a very serious Hit and Run. If your friends with him on Facebook, he recently posted a picture of him in the hospital during his stay there. It's very scary that people, would leave another human being left to die.
Anson was there for the 'Blood In' press conference. And has been a great addition and regular to many rides.
His hit and run culprit is still at large, and it sickenss me that the person who did this potentially got away in almost killing one of us.
And what is our main topic among us? Were bitching and complaining that some rock star's entrance at the VMA is exploiting our Midnight Ridazz community?
Please let us move on with more important topics and issues.

If he has any recollection (I think he posted the lady was driving an Audi A4 or something) of what the car and lady look like, then maybe he should try observing that intersection/area where the accident took place. Chances, as high or as low as they may be, could have the culprit returning to that area. It's not much, but it can be a start.

That heiffer made a right turn onto valley blvd right in front of me and manny. She was driving an audi s4 wagon silver in color with a carbon fiber hood and carbon fiber tailgate. When I landed on the street I looked up and that bitch was mashing up valley blvd. The fire dept found me sleeping on valley & I think its san pablo street. I just remember manny yelling " anson nooooo!!" And then I was on her hood then the pavement. My helmet saved me!!!

You could also contact nearby car bodyshops to see if anyone brought in an Audi S4 wagon that fits your description, to get any dents out of her hood and such. It's going to take some work and the end result might not even be reasonable, but there's a chance this person will do it again. I mean, how fucked up do you have to be to just leave someone you've just hit lying there in the street?

Or maybe cameras in the establishments nearby (I don't know the area very well so it may very well just be a residential street, in which case my question is null and void)?
We could even have a ride out in that area... and play "duck duck goose" meets "ding dong ditch" with all the Audi S4's we see around. You know... ride by, see an Audi S4, go to the door, ring the bell, and either wait to see who opens it or run and hide and do it that way.
Just know violence doesn't solve anything.

Anson, do you have
any idea if there would have been other damage to the car (i.e. bumper or fender) other than possibly the carbon fiber hood? A broken CF hood may not necessarily mean a trip to the body shop because CF cannot be repaired. They might just order a replacement CF hood or even put the original hood back on if they still have it.

Bodywork on an Audi is not cheap, it would be hard to keep that under the table. On the other hand, I don't know if body shops have any kind of privacy contracts they have to honor or anything like that.

that is mischievously a great idea... (of course assuming your other resources have been exhausted... in other words, checking all the body shops nearby)

we were heading east on valley blvd the woman that hit me was heading north on
san pablo st , she probably works @ the medical center up there...
i doubt if theres any serious damage to her hood or left fender , but she did have a smile on her face as i slid across that motherfuccer :)

I was just on google maps and there appears to be a closed circuit camera at --- Valley Blvd / San Pablo St, Los Angeles, CA, United States --- Check it out on the street view. Do you think we could petition the LAPD or whomever runs that camera for footage of that night? If that camera's there then there would have to be more surrounding the park right?

No police report was filed that I know of. Wtf I was sleeping until yesterday @ noon when my uncle picked me up and dropped me off @ lax...

Sorry for not catching this earlier...there were a slew of Hit and Run posts that were old and were bumped to the top of the forums with no new info...I assumed all of them were old and did not catch this one.
Thanks to Mihai for pointing this thread out.
I will be happy to provide any assiatnce possible but we need to get the ball rolling with a police report. We can not get the footage from the camera unless there is an open investigation.

Where are you Anson? Get this ball rolling. With the footage from that camera, you might get lucky and catch her so she can pay for your hospital bills and more.
Also, one more hit and run driver caught and brought to justice is one more reason the next driver might think twice about running.
But, who knows how long that footage is retained for? It might not be as long as you think. Video footage takes up a LOT of disc space.
Pursue this with haste, bro.

i spoke with sgt Krumer last nite and then again this morning.
i sent him a email explaining what happened , where it happened @ and the time
of the incident...Sgt Krumer told me that triffic division officers will find the video
and look for the footage of me doing a windmill across her carbon fiber hood...
this incident happened on august 23rd and i was released from usc medical ctr on
sept 13th...my helmet was destroyed and my fillmore , well its still my fillmore...

having been around RB during his whole debacle and just paying attention to the hit and run epidemic I can tell you that you are pretty much going to have to fight for justice every step of the way! And that is no guarantee.

Thats great news... I hope the timeline I gave u helped a bit. Too bad, I was not there as you remember it, not in person anyway, but definitely in spirit homeboy. One thing about that camera some one pointed out... It may be a park camera not so much a traffic cam, but I really hope that it was pointed towards the intersection or at least east or west showing valley and the cars traveling on it. Or hopefully its a train camera, which would of captured the whole thing if it happened near the tracks.
