HAHAHAHAH you'd be surprised how much it actually takes to step 16th notes at 200bpm for almost 2 minutes. I highly doubt he would be dropped. He will have no problem keeping up on a geared bike. Put it this way, it would take you guys 2 years or more to able to pass that song. It will take him MAYBE 2 tries to finish a wolfpack ride. Sorry.

I don't doubt it takes a bit of stamina to lean on a bar and tap dance that fast and I'm gonna let you get back to your video game world but I just gotta say that there is no Freeking way in hell that 2 minutes of a tap dancing video game equates to 50 miles in LA traffic at 21 mph avg on a Monday night.
I agree with you, but idk man, a minute and a half long bmx race takes more stamina than a wolfpack ride..ask rich if you don't believe me.. yeah on wolfpack you're riding a distance at a relatively high rate of speed, but it's not near the same intensity as a bmx race or even this dance game especially considering drafting and whatnot. ...
that being said if it took 2 years for a wolfpack hustler to do what that kid did, it wouldn't be for lack of stamina...
Stamina... I think playing DDR and riding Wolfpack are worlds apart. -bananaphone
yeah that's what I was thinking...I don't know if this is what you meant but it seems to me like it's a different kind of stamina...if there even is such a thing as that...
See people get stuck on this it's a "video game." Put it this way. If you go out the "ITG" community and grab a handful of the top players in the world. I guarantee none of them will get dropped within 10 miles. Yeh its a video game. And that "tap dancing" has dropped me 40lbs in less than a year at one point. The only reason why I was able to do the wolfpackhustle all city race and try out the monday ride was due to this game. I never rode a road bike before honestly. Till the ending of this year. But I've been playing the shit out of this game for years. Thus why I can run over 20 miles like its nothing .. 2 mins? Dude we play songs like that for over 20 min straight without even the ability to "coast" like you can on a bike. Or drop a gear to make it easier for yourself. Its a different world of skill I'll agree. But it's still very stamina demanding. But playing stepcharts for the same time it takes for u guys to complete 50 miles at 21. Is the same for us playing 2 hours worth of ITG. Do you really honestly think you could step(just randomly) for over 4mins straight at 180bpm? 16th notes. You do the wolfpack hustle ride and you ARE THE KING! I admit! But it still takes a whole lot to do this shit.

I'll also add that the leaning on the bar, is equivalent to us leaning over holding the handle bar :). You kind of turn better when holding a handle bar and maneuver better :). Same with the Game. Its a lot harder to ride a bike with no handle bar. Same for the game :)

If that's true then we should be seeing you at Tangs more often no?
Haha
Sorry video gamers... You'd have to get this elite tapper to show up on Monday night and prove it. Everything else is hearsay an you can be sure that I am not going to spend 2 years let alone 2 hours tapping a video game pad to prove it in reverse. Hahaha

Hahaha this is highlarious reasoning. But let's just say some of the worlds tap dance greats didn't need to lean on some bars for stability. They used canes and umbrellas!!! Hahah

I'm not saying that this video game doesn't take some energy and skill and stamina. But someone like Sammy Davis jr. in his prime Could out tap these dudes and still wouldn't be able to roll with this Hustle. It's a different set of muscles for sure. But were talking about 2-3 hours of energy and moving weight forward in the wind and no stationary object to lean on. It's a whole differet game sons.

I'll definitely get a couple of them to show up :)...they all know about the rides. And have been wanting to come out and try em. Cause they are stamina whores. See I do both! I ride and play the game. So I know the difference....I respect that it takes a lot to do a wolfpack ride. But you need to experience how much it takes to do this "VIDEO GAME." Come out for a day and experience some TAP DANCING :P

I'll pay your way too. I want to see you "TAP" I'm going to make a chart just for you....
Simple pattern. As simple as pedaling. But you have to hit it accurately. We just don't mindlessly stomp. averaging 21mph on a wolfpackride. 21mph hmmmm 150 or 160bpm 16th notes should be equal. Pattern will be left right left right streams. I'll make it 10mins. If you can pass it due to the almighty stamina you have gained from the hustle. I will give you 50bucks :)

Dude! You have no idea. How many bitch fit arguments on the NO BAR, BAR situation.
Ugh its been going on forever. But it has slightly stopped. Because in the beginning dancing games were never as crazy as it is now. At one point we had ONE amazing no bar player. And now he is one of the best "bar" players ever. Known for amazing footspeed.

in bmx riding, you use a whole half of your body that you don't use during road bike riding, and different muscles. plus it's an all out sprint. wolfpack isn't quite that. I would agree and say that you have to be in better shape to keep up on a wolfpack ride than to get around a bmx track, but I guarantee you that any person who rides Wolfpack sprinted as fast as they could around a track they'd finish huffing and puffing.
oh and as soon as I can get around a bmx track without wanting to pass out at the end, then yeah, I'll see you at Tangs.
and seriously? I mean seriously. There's a bar/no bar controversy. wow. I mean. wow. that's great. that's cool. whatever keeps the kids off drugs.
