Jelly Belly My Baby Puppy

i met an angel today,
I took my puppy to the hospital in west Hollywood. I had borrowed 25$ from my mom and had another $125 in pocket i thought i had enough to have my dog seen and treated. it wasn't nearly enough. I cried in the little room i sat in after talking to the doctor. she need injections and hydration and medications, and i was far from having the flow needed to do so.
I was sent to the waiting room to retrieve my dog from them, as I waited there was lady sitting next to me who was waiting on her pug-huahua she was asking me why i was there i told her it was for my puppy who wasn't eating and had diarrhea and vomiting foam, she told me her other dog, a chihuahua, like mine, had the same problem a month ago, and said the injections really helped and worked fast, i explained to her that my dog didn't get the injection b/c lack of $ at the same moment the vet come out to talk to me about what i should do now that my jelly belly couldn't be treated, the lady who later introduced herself as Lenora, cut off the vet from talking and insisted on paying for the hydration, I cried and cried and thanked her. Jelly has responded very well to the hydration injection but it will still take another 7 hours to effect her completely. than another few day to be totally get back to her usual hyperactive biting, chirping kissing pissing self. Lenora and I exchanged numbers.
I thank her from the bottom of my heart. It is people like her that help me remember that this world isn't so evil, there are genuinely caring, generous people out there,
Lenora, where ever you out there, God Bless!
i never say "god bless you" but this is beyond anything great or beautiful that has ever happened to me. I'm speechless and grateful.
I'm doing the pay it forward deal tonight, what do you need? how can i help?
P.S Canine Parvovirus? So I'm very happy and relieved knowing now that parvo was no cause of her sickness like i had thought it was.
Jelly just peed in my room, and you know what?, I'm alright with that.

That's awesome! JellyBelly's gonna be OK. Last year, my goat got kidney stones...he needed urgent treatment, and it was life or death. It was crazy and stressful to come up with the $2500 needed to take care of him. A couple friends of mine helped out, which I am just as grateful for. No puppy left behind!

today i took her to a facility. she had a bloody nose and butt hole today that scared me to a cry. i took her as a "stray" they'll test her for parvovirus, if she does not have it they'll treat her for whatever IS wrong with her and she'll be put up for adoption. which then i will "adopt" her. if she has parvo, they'll put her to sleep. but it'll be for the best.
the reason why she was taken in as a stray is b/c i have no funda at the moment to pay vet bills. i have 50 buck to my name.
if she is treatable, they're treat her, spay and vaccinate her, all free from the City of LA, and if i "adopt" her back, i'll only have to pay about $150 instead of the $500+.
i have her animal I.D number, tomorrow i'll call to check on her test results n status.
send out little puppy prayers for her.
my poor puppy.
I will never forget the face she had as I put her in the kennel and walked away.
my heart us still breaking.

Check before you allow it to go for adoption. When that happens where I live, you're not allowed to adopt your former pet back.

Don't sell your bike, I just called my vet...they have vacc clinics on Mon-Sat and they just charge for the vaccine, not the office visit. $30.40 for vaccine, but if you see the vet, then they charge vaccine plus office visit ($40.00!) Total $70 bucks...I would be willing to help out for sure. Ed.

Does anyone want to organize and lead the ride?
I've got too much on my mind to do so myself.
$60 for the parvo test alone, 55$ to be seen by the vet and plus whatever blood tests they might want to do.
plus the actual vaccine its self that might be about $45.
I'm thinking i need about $250 to cover.

Yo Delirium! Sorry haven't bounced on this site for a few days....Sorry to hear about the troubles. Called my vet again..They offer $46 visit and $45 for parvo test. They said that if the dog is sick, they probably wouldn't/couldn't give the vaccine. I can help with this bill but I am a bit far away. Here is the addy for my vet, they also offer some payment plans etc.
