The Mar Vista Community Council is proposing a motion to request the City and the LAPD to enforce a 1-hour time limit on catering trucks in our neighborhood. The meeting is on Tuesday at 6. (The meeting should be over in time for Taco Tuesday.) Help save our taco trucks by fighting this stupid motion!
the meeting is on Tuesday at the library on Venice and Inglewood, from 6pm to 8pm. Please make it if you can.

Funny, I was in Venice on Abbot Kinny and an owner of a local came up to chat up the owner of a truck I was eating at. She was really psyched to have the truck in the area, because it promotes the walking culture of the area and probably helps her a lot more than the pricey bars and chichi restaurants in the area.

those are exactly the sort of comments that we need! please try to make it out guys. i know it's short notice, but it's a few items down on the agenda, so if you can't make it by 6 sharp, come anyway. i'll do what i can to be long winded in case anyone is late showing up.
