NELA BIKE LANES

Hi. If you support having buffered bike lanes installed up and down Colorado Blvd in Eagle Rock, your presence at city hall at 7pm will be appreciated as this is a pivotal meeting. There will be a faction of opposition present. They don't seem to have any valid arguments, but this is a numbers game. So if you could show up to represent support perhaps even arrive by bike, that would be great.

There's also one for Bike Lanes on N. Figueroa on April 4th at the Highland Park Neiborhood Council that will be just as crucial.
If we don't have a mass turnout, then these lanes may not happen.
We've been talking about these meetings for years now, and this is it. Tell everyone.

But seriously, there will be a posse of anti-bike lane people who are acting like the KKK with us. So far only 45 people on FB list for supporters to show.

What time would be best to meet up with each other to share some ideas on what to say? I'm not a big public speaker but I will go up there to support and to help out Northeast.

I'M THINKING ABOUT SHOWING UP AT THESE MEETINGS BECAUSE IT'D BE 100% MORE PRODUCTIVE THAN POSTING ON HERE.

I was wrong about the no public comment. Fortunately council unanimously passed in favor for the lanes.
The next meeting will be tomorrow at the Highland Park council for north Fig.
I have a strong feeling that there will be even more opposition at this meeting.
