does anyone know the cat just to my right in this photo? I believe he was the one hit by a car last monday. He looked like he was in bad shape when the ambulance carted him away. I've been calling Pacific division and Inglewood police to find out where he was taken but their policy is that they cant give out info over the phone. I know his name is Dave and He was by himself when he got taken out hard so we dont know exactly what happened. Other than that I don't have much info. We were flagged down about a mile away by some witnesses and by the time we got back to the spot he was being put on the stretcher. I'm going to call in to the night shift tonight and go to the station if I cant get any answers. Some guy claiming to be an off duty cop was shooing us away from the scene... fucking asshole we were trying to determine who it was.

finally found him. He's at UCLA in-patient... couldnt get much out of the nurse except that he's going to be ok. If anyone wants to go with me to visit, I'm prolly gonna head down tomorrow if I can get some work done right now.

I called him his morning. He is ok and walking around though as I understand it he's got some issues with some fractured vertebrae. He was wearing a helmet and it either saved his life or kept him from being a vegetable as the helmet didnt survive. No broken bones. The windshield was smashed and puntured which probably cause a huge gash in his neck that is now stitched up. The gash came very close to a major artery. He was lucky. He will probably be out by tomorrow...

Always sad to hear when someone gets hurt, but it's very good to hear he will be okay after such a scary start to the thread!

you can lose an arm, leg or even your dick but you can't live without the brain. i hate wearing them but whenever i get on the bike i wear the helmut!
