Why think its a Hoax? (i could be wrong.. we'll see)
1. Parents are attention freaks
2. As the NY Times reports... the dad had the idea to alert... yes... the news crews:
after the Heene family’s experimental balloon lifted into the air, possibly carrying a six-year-old child, his father Richard Heene called Channel 9, KUSA, the NBC affiliate in Denver, to enlist its help in finding his son.
Patti Dennis, the news director for KUSA, said that Mr. Heene called shortly after 11 a.m. Mountain time.
An hour later, a KUSA anchor reported the call. “The child’s father called the information center in a panic,” a KUSA anchor told viewers. The father “asked if we would launch the helicopter to help him track it. We have done that. The helicopter is en route.”
Oooooh I see your point there. I still say, where're they hiding him? It sounds like there's plenty of people around the neighborhood searching for him.

haha yeah, right? I was talking to my little housemate this morning about how "One day, when you get old and bitter like me, you'll understand".
So I guess it's just a matter of seconds until we have official word on if the kid was hiding or his parents put him there... Unless I'm already behind on that too.

After the UFO RIDE and my failed UFO of 100 helium balloons. That shit wouldnt hold LED's for shit. No way it could carry a 70 pound kid. I should have known.
What ever did people do with their time and attention before the 24-hour news cycle met up with social media? Their lives must have been so impoverished.
