Helen's mechanics mentally challenged

A month or so ago I had my bike at Helen's for some repairs and while it was in there they called me up and said I needed my brake pads changed. They cajoled me into letting them do it for me, but I don't know why I agreed, because today when I was sticking on a new pair of wheels I noticed that *both* pairs of breakpads were mounted in reverse (left pad on right side and vice versa)
Now I know what you're thinking. That's an easy mistake to make, breakpads are nearly symmetrical. And honestly, I don't know how much of a difference this makes (I didn't notice for a whole month). But unfortunately for the credibility of the Helen's mechanics, Shimano has thought of this, and puts not one but two (2) indications on
each break pad about how to mount it. Not only was the L on the wrong side, the "FORWARD->" was pointing to the rear of the bike.
It's all about Performance.
