Hey I was wondering if anybody out there would maybe like to start a ride to dodger home games?
reply
It sounds like fun, but there's also always mad car traffic.

getting out of dodger stadium on a bicycle is a lot better than waiting in traffic to exit...

Anyone know if that Dodger stadium bike parking is still there? Militant angeleno in the link below wrote up on it but just wanted to verify.

i'm down... are they still free after a certain time?
there's a cool road we can take that bypasses the sunset/elysian park intersection. it shouldn't be too bad.

Mikey Wally had trouble with the security when riding into there. He is now, "banned for life".
They don't like bikes from what I gather.
If everybody rode and walked there in LA for games, there would be so less fucking traffic. The fact that the subway doesn't go there is a big FAIL for LA.

I rode up there a couple weekends ago. Everyone was really nice helping me find the bike parking.

I'm going to the game tonight!!! I'm driving though because I'm taking my parents and they never learned how to ride a bike.

It was nice last year they had a free shuttle from union station, but with the city broke and los doyers too cheep to fund it, it was a short experiment in making it less car centric. I still think they need a funicular or gondola from Chinatown.

it was a little tricky getting to the stadium with all the traffic, but parking was no problem. LOL. we just locked up to the Handicap Parking signs near the entrance and no one gave us any problems.
