Here is the final prototype for the cycling specific hip bag I've been developing the past few weeks. I had a need for a hip bag capable of fitting my D90 + bike tools, and nothing really seemed to fit the bill! As some people know I am considering making more of these bags- but I am still gauging interest, testing the prototype, and learning more every day on the best way to sew these things because it takes a while!
I've been working with vinyl banners and Cordura for materials, and I'll be making variations if I do decide to go ahead with making the first run!
Features:
-mounts on hip to keep back dry
-big main pocket for camera / bike tools
-side access zip pouch on front flap
-brake light mount on front flap
-reflective tape on exterior
-inner lining is velcro'd for access to padding
This bag is full Cordura on inside & outside. It is by far my favorite so far, and I'm ready to lock this design in for making any other bags.

I think i'd like one at some point.
I have a friend that uses a good sew shop in DTLA
I bet he'd be willing to talk to you about the cost ... maybe even willing to help you distribute.
