DMV Drivers Manual error!

DJWheels discovered an error in this year's DMV manual in which it states that cyclists are to ride single file even though the CVC code indicates otherwise....

I will let DJWheels brief when he sees this.

 I won't take credit for discovering it, but it came to my attention when someone posted it in that KPCC Airtalk blog.

"must ride single file on a busy or narrow street."

DMV handbook

I'm working on a letter to send the Legal Affairs division at the DMV asking them for the legal authority for that line and in the event they can't provide it, to get rid of that!

I think a letter writing campaign may help here.
