Link Fail sorry. Metro.net blog had the story up but I guess they pulled it and will publish it tomorrow since the 29th is the official Bday.

Because it not a real train ... The should have just built a train like the gold line instead of some lame bus .... Sometimes public transit in L.A frustrates me ...

Yeah I agree it should have been light rail but I guess BRT is better than nothing.

the orange line the BOMBDIGGY.it better then a railline due to the fact there is a bike is a bike lane! look at some of the rail lines in l.a. the put down about 10-15 yards of rock next to the tracks!

True .. the orange line is better than nothing ... I have only taken this once .... I'm a daily redline user 4sure .... I cant wait to go back to D.C and N.Y ride a real train system for a week... LOL

L.A. defintiely needs to improve their public transportation system ! L.A. is too car dependent hence all the traffic !

Well, at least they're moving back along in the right direction, albeit it a bit slowly.
Pacific Electric was an excellent system, but a fine example of fixing something that wasn't broken to begin with.
Everyone thought automobiles were the wave of the future, but that soon turned into nightmare that won't be going away anytime soon.
