just bought a wheel set and the guy i bought it from installed the wrong sized tube that has a shorter presta valve on it so i cant properly inflate the tire bc not enough of the valve is exposed.
anyone in the san gabriel/pasadena area have any spare tubes with a long enough presta valve (for a deep v) i can buy off them? or possibly trade with them?
thank you in advance

I don't...but did you know you can get extenders for your presta valves?

I know you want to ride now but if you want to save those tubes for next time... buy a presta to schrader valve adapter. I've got deep v's and w/ 36mm presta... there was some threading on the presta barely poking out and i was able to get the adapter to screw on a bit. It worked for me and the adapter was like $2.

just remember to keep the extension if you change out tubes!

I've got some extra tubes and live in Pasadena but won't be home 'till Friday.
I sometimes visit my local LBS and ask if they could dontate used tubes and parts to the bike oven. They give me piles of tubes and some usable parts. Some of the tubes are repairable, some have nothing wrong with them, and some need to be repurposed.
