Anyone else think this could be a fun thing to get going in LA? There's a couple people on LA fixed trying to put together some games and stuff, might be fun to get enough people to get a little league or something going...

oh, and as contact is part o this game, hitting each other with polo sticks is part of the fun... so, let's get some teams together... and go find a basketball court.

I brought my homemade polo sticks to BikeRoWave and the parking lot is empty on the weekends. If a few people show up Saturday afternoons we could pull a few extra people from BikeRoWave and get a game going.

What days work for people? I'm thinking Sunday afternoons and scoping out locations around Hancock Park, Pan Pacific Park, Griffith Park, wherever. Preferably on the east side. Tennis courts or basketball courts are ideal, but I'll play on dirt and grass if necessary.

+100 Barleye. 310 Has the ridazz, and they could use a game. The trouble is they dont have a spot to play. I scouted the top of the abandoned shoe pavilion parking lot on Sepulveda south of national, but nobody has played there that I know of. LA Brakeless had the city's best squad for a while, but now they have all retired. If 310 builds it, we will come.

+1 I'll come play on the westside.
Post that shit up and we'll bring enough eastside players for a game.

What would be rad is if they could reserve the Mar Vista rink on Wednesday nights (or whenever) for a few hours. barleye yer the right kind of guy for that task. I know we'd have to pledge to be clean and probably sober, as it was the beer cans that got them tossed out of the tennis courts, or so I heard.
