So I've encountered the same asian guy twice in 4 days, and yes he has the same middle finger every time.
first encounter; biking back from the b-day ride in downtown Sat night. So i'm at the corner of Pico and Alvarado and i hear this car revving behind me as i turn back to look, he speeds by and gives me the finger and screams in broken english "get of the road" just to fuck with the guy i haul ass to the next light and catch him, and told him i had every right to be on the road as much as he did. but he wasnt having it so he gave me the finger and sped away.
second encounter; venice and crenshaw , this time the car cuts me off forcing me to take the side walk. i give chase to see what's up, and to my surprise it's the same dude from saturday. unfortunately both times my camera wasn't on me if not i would've burned this guy already.
A real man stays there until it explodes and then walks or crawls away with what he has left, shouldering the fact that he has just blown someone to smithereens and has done the utmost manliest thing a man with a stick of dynamite could do. Manliest thing I could think of up to date anyhow.
Being self destructive is what makes it so manly. Showing absolutely no regard for your own well being in your attempt to bring someone down shows the pure fortitude or obnoxiousness of which your determination or rage is derived!
Becareful how you go around U-Locking especially if the assailant is a car hemming nazi. Last time we U-Locked some car that almost hit my Lil Homie Phil, The car came back Furiously focing us to literally jump off of our bikes and almost ran all 5 of us down. There are crazy People out there, I repete there are crazy peolpe out there that will instigate you everytime. Keep in mind there hanicaped by the condition driving a cars got them in. Next time this happens take a deep breath of fresh air-in and thank God your not stuck in the box/car.
Use lug nuts, they are easy to carry and its hard to prove you chucked um. Old Hells Angel trick.
Just be careful if you get of your bike to fight. make sure it is up off the street protected by an obstical. I have had my bike run over by a motorist who got there ass kicked.
Change your route up, and your look , if you have a different bike even better.

i am a strong believer in "things" happen in threes.. i see the next meeting and am in favor of your safety and bike's well being.. that said, prepare. the "wash on, wash off" technique will give you a pretty good advantage point, however, beware the swiping of the knee, those so-called drivers play dirty with their 3000 pound machinery.. so if all else fails, do "the stance" - you know the one.. and when you hear Chicago, you know you will have won!
slashing tires is surprisingly easy, and generally makes your getaway a little safer....I had to do it for the first time the other day, not something i want to repeat, but after 4000+ miles and who knows how many fights, i guess it had to happen eventually.
maybe you just need to unlease a good can of whoop ass on him instead of using your u-lock on a idiot like that who probably has nothing but 2cents to him and his beat up honda [no offense junes]
