Bike question

soo 
i'm changing my Fork on my bike
i have a fork that is 1inch but my frame is 1 1/8
i'm getting a new headset but its a 1 1/8
what would i need to do or recomend?
 
i'm thinking something like
getting a shim?
or thers this shim that goes on top and bottom  so that the head set can fit in. and won't move.

maybe also the 1inch fork you have is threaded...

but the fork i got was a gift and its a new carbon Look fork.... :/

This is what you want louis, its a headset reducer. It presses in just like a headset cup, then you install a 1'' headset, and youre good to go. youre gonna have to get rid of the 1 18th.

For twenty four bucks, if you really like your fork, or have a weird 1 14th inch cannondale that you want to use a normal fork with, its a steal. Another company used to have them for 12$ back when I was converting my m700 to 1 18th

if you're trying to get this done for tonight...i don't recommend it...unless you can find it at your lbs...then you still have to get it installed, unless you have all the headset tools...(threaded?  threadless?)
because it'll suck if you take it all apart and realize you can't put it together with the new fork, OR put it back the way it was...

yeah thats what i'm getting i found it at maestros for 18 i think and the new head set for 35 origin 8
