My megaphones have bitten the dust, both the mini and the full-size. I think I want to get another mini megaphone, since it was light enough to easily carry around on rides, not to mention that it fit in my messenger bag in case I wanted to go to a bar with a surly doorman.

Anyhow, both of my megaphones were the red Pitbull brand, and they both succumbed to corrosion from playa dust. They also had problems with making good contact with the batteries, I think. Anyone have recommendations of megaphones - quality for the price, relatively light, and feedback issues are mainly what I'm interested in.

I've broken all 5 megaphones I've owned. The cheapest ones come from Harbor Freights, I think its the one in your picture.
