Stolen Bike

Locks were cut, bike was stolen. It's a 55cm Merlin frame, with titanium seatpost, and stem. Brooks leather bartape, Black Concor Light Saddle. Please keep an eye out for me.

Damn that sucks! What area and time was the bike taken? Either way... will keep an eye out.

Please give us more information. Date of theft, Location, approximate time of day or night the theft occurred and whether you used a cable lock, U-Lock or reasonable facsimile.

this is not the kind of bike that should be locked...this kind of bike should not leave your sight

Ouch! My cervelo rarely leaves my crotch on rides...sorry to hear that. Nice nice bike!!!

And doesn't it say "Outdoor _____" on both of the seat-stays? I recall that from always trying to catch up to you (just can't recall the second word.)
Damn, and I was prepared for another false stolen bike thread where someone didn't lock their bike and got it jacked.
Fortunately Merlins aren't too common so I hope that increases the chances of you recovering it. I'll be on the lookout.

i'm lucky enough to have a few bikes, and i never lock up my nice ones
I bring those home and ride my cheaper ones around town...ones that i'm not afraid to leave locked up...
how the hell would someone try to sell a hot merlin?

Major bummer, sorry for your loss. I'm with the others on this, that that's too nice a bike to lock up and leave from your sight. Those carbon wheels alone are probably 1400 a pair. Ouch.
