Where are all the Downey, Sur Gate, Norwalk, Santa Fe Springs, Bell Gardens, Cudahy/Maywood/Walnut Park, Paramount, Bellflower, Pico Rivera Ridazz at?

I've seen a couple of dudes on Fixies rolling through Downey, but they're always solo. The only organized ride I know of is every sunday morning with the Roadies at Wilderness.

Where's everybody at? And why don't we have an organized ride?

We could start a ride through the roughest parts of LA and whoever makes it home alive...well...makes it home alive...WOOO!

We can call it "THE BARRIO RIDE"...

Im a south gate rider & I agree with you we need to get the cities together over here in south gate we have about 7 riderz including me....

Now that I'm working somewhere else I may actually get to jump on the 5fix2 rides, but I still think we need another ride for people who live in between the 710 and 605

yaa i used to ride to caltrans at the end of the 105 from long beach all the time and never had anyriders to ride home with :sad face:


now i dont have to deal with that. i hear a bunch of kids mobilizing in lakewood get on it.

I rarely have a second person with me.

I think the most I've seen in Downey was a group of like maybe 5 guys.

Though I had a friend call me the other day to tell me she saw a group of ridazz rolling 20 deep through Norwalk.

Phantom Ridazz???

yeah. 5fix2. it was about 27 of us rolling through norwalk last monday. we rode down to el dorado park and met up with some lb heads.

i live in norwalk. i just started the ride in uptown whittier cos it's a cool little town.

i would love to annex a 5fix2 ride between the 710 and 605 then meet up at designated locations in our little towns. have drinkz. then head home.

who's up for the challenge?

and def, there's always peeps that roll from allover the place to come to a 5fix2 ride. some from dtla, some from downey, lbc, lakewood, chino, rancho, la habra, cypress, commerce, east la, ad infinitum. yous should come too.

tonight we're rolling to the santa fe damn to chill, drink, smoke, whateva. then riding back to uptown.

As most of y'all might or might not already know, I drive a rig for a company in Montebello.

There are some nights where there are no loads to take me back home to Victimville, so I end up staying overnight in the Montebello yard from time-to-time.

When this occurs, I usually ride down to the Whittier 24HrFitness to get some upper-body and additional cardio put in.

So, anywho, I was riding down there a few weeks ago at 2AM and I noticed some hipster-looking fella trailing behind me on an old-ass, 10-speed.
I vaguely remember him screaming, "Lookie, lookie, I got a dookie!!"

I don't know who this guy was, but he had no lights and had no spoke-cards, so I'm not sure if he was one of your guys, or a complete stray.

Needless to say, I'm open to join up with your crew whenever something's going down and I'm in town!!

i'm in (eastside) lakewood... i ride from work (south central) during the week. if you wanna ride one day, lemme know. sometimes i take the streets (south on broadway, east on alondra, south on atlantic, then east on south st..) or the 710 riverbed/bike path from slauson down to rosecrans and street it from there to get home.

does that answer your questions.. if you see a homeless fellow on a bike stop him and sayy "hey. lets ride some bikes" and he will oh he will. i dont know his name but enjoys long rides with his dogg in his trailer hehe tell him to get at scoop when ya see him.

you guys should come to our monday ride....its always different and always an adventure....2 weeks ago we rode to the abandoned insane asylum....FUN! and last night we rode to inrwindale to the santa fe dam....yesterday it was prolly like 30 of us. if you wanna keep up on whats going on with us, check out our lafixed.com thread..... HERE! we some times do mid week spontaneous rides so stay posted..... :)

You mean the old, respiratory clinic off of Imperial?

I actually rolled to their from the terminal in Montebello a few, weeks ago when jack shit was going on.

Definitely one place I would traipse into by myself, there's this aura about the place that makes it feel like someone besides LASD is watching you!!!

yeah, i think we were south of imperial... and i heard it was an old insane asylum... i wasn't sure where we were going until we got there (we met up with the 5fix2 ridazz...rode up from the LBC).

even though we were there with several people, i was too chicken $hit to go inside the buildings and check it out myself. i was already feeling "something" while we were standing outside on this patio from the 2nd floor... definitely creepy. (at least for me) and yes, you do (at least i did) get a feeling that someone was watching us.... (too-doo-doo-dooooo...too-doo-doo-dooooo...)

I heard about a boiler room being underneath one of the main buildings.

When myself, user1, and a couple of friends when to go check this place out in February, we came across some locked doors and other entrances we decided to save for later.

Who knows, an All-City, Urbez meet-up in the future perhaps?

WestSidazz meets up with 5fix2?

HAHA! I love the rumors and stuff behind that place. I honestly don't think that place is THAT eerie. It sure as hell ain't haunted. Some homeless have been known to kick it there, but they are usually all kicked out by county police sooner or later. They have been known to mess with people that go there looking for ghosts. LASD is NOT in charge of that area. Its LA county police (since its a county building...abandoned or not). So just be careful when you guys head down there. County police can be cool...but they also have NOTHING to do except patrol county buildings/parking lots...so you don't want to piss off some grumpy bored cop.

So just be aware:
A lot of flee's. They WILL attack you. Bubonic plague maybe? I was attacked one time while over there and it sucked. And also be careful for the huge amounts of asbestos. And the buildings are old. And if you damage anything and get caught...you have to pay for it. BELIEVE IT OR NOT. I know someone who learned the hard way during some law enforcement training. He wanted to be cool and punched a hole in the wall. Guess who paid for it. Also be aware that this place is used constantly by a whole bunch of law enforcement agencies. I know, cus I participated in Riot training there once. Its the only time in my life when I got to throw things at cops (water, horse crap, matresses, rocks, a guy in a wheelchair, a rolling car, and a whole lot of profanity) and get away with it. So sometimes you'll find simunitions ammo, used up flashbangs, nylon gear, and maybe a dead body. You just don't wanna show up while a bunch of SWAT teams are training there...they may want to use you as props =D

We're gonna meet up at my house at 630pm. Plenty of parking in the hood.

I'm gonna sell spoke cards ($5.00each) all to benefit Brent Plumbastic. I"m gonna make 20, so everyone, everyone buy one.

We'll leave around 7pmish.

Ride to DiPiazza's in Long Beach.

Enjoy Brent's band and some others and drink tons (drinks benefit Brent).

Bring lots of $$$ and buy our underage comrades some drinks. It is ALL AGES!

Might as well post this up a week in advance instead of one hour.

Are there any convoys heading out along Whittier Blvd going towards any of the two rides on Friday, or perhaps even Robotz on Saturday?
