Of the 4 or 5 deaths we have seen in the last 2 weeks I think every driver was driving a large truck or SUV.

While that may be true, I see the most everyday animosity coming from drivers of hoopdees.
Namely, busted up sub-compacts that the operator thinks are the shit.

yes, but all things being equal.
those monstrosities are just more dangerous.
they have tons of power, they handle like shit, they have lots of blind spots, they also block other drivers' views. And of course, when you get mashed by one, you are more likely to go over the hood than under. I'm gonna say that most of these crashes would have been non-fatal if the cars involved had been smaller. But thats just pure speculation.

I'm making a bike flag banner over my head.
It doesn't make any sense, but that's the point.

Well, in line with my earlier postings, anything with a GVW over 1500lbs and a ground-clearance of over 2' needs to have a CDL requirement, or at least a medical-card every 2 years.
We've got semi-tractor sized personal trucks being operated by non-CDL holders who were probably trained by taking their daddys Cadillac on a sneaky night run.
