The Hawaiian Gardens store had those maps 3 weeks ago.
L.A./Ventura County and O.C./Riverside County editions.
I went back the next day for another one, but they were all gone.
Get down there NOW!
I just happened to be in the store on the right day.
I also bought a plastic bike horn (cheap, but sounds like a small bird-cool) and a rear yellow and red flashing light, which seems pretty sturdy. Its bright and has 5 or 6 modes.

I bought the rear light and it broke while I was putting it on my bike.

I just bought that back light. It's huge! But I guess that good so I won't get hit. I'm using it for my backpack but it does seem a bit unstable. I hope it holds up for a few months.

I still buy Thomas Guides and Rand McNally Truckers atlases.
GPS, Qualcomm/OmniTracs, and all those guidance tools are good, but when the shit hits the fan, compasses, the North Star, rulers, and paper maps are the way to go.

I had the smaller red one and it was the mount that broke.

Ever heard of "Electro Magnetic Pulse" from either upper atmospheric solar wind, or a high altitude nuclear detonation?
Yeah, the gadgets are all good until their circuits get fried.
After that, most people won't be able to find their way out of a paper bag!!!
