Here's a heads up of a good living situation that has come up with someone I know...
His note:
Thanks again for passing this along....I really do appreciate it!
Here's the info:
So I am in need of a roommate who can fulfill rent for a two bedroom apartment located in Hollywood. For $825 a month it's absolutely a steal! We're located in Hollywood on Gordon st directly across Sunset-Gower Studios. We're a minute's walk from Amoeba and Arclight Hollywood, and we're in close proximity to Paramount studios. You will not find a better place that features all the amenities such as hardwood and granite flooring, a full sized kitchen, two large bedrooms, and parking in the heart of Hollywood.
Ideally you'd be moving in the second week of December, so you wouldn't pay the first month's rent in full (ie December rent: $350 to $415).
Rent:
$825/month + $100 utilities (gas, electric, cable)
Features:
2 Bedrooms, Dimensions of available bedroom: 11'x14'x9'
1 Full Bathroom
Full sized kitchen complete with stainless steel Frigidaire refrigerator and dishwasher
Natural light/Windows all around apartment
Space for Parking!
Description:
The apartment features an excellent array of flooring. There is beautiful marbled ceramic-tile flooring throughout the kitchen and bathroom, along with ceramic-tile counters. The living room features sleek jet black wood that really gives the place a great contemporary look, and the bedrooms have soft neutral color carpet (light brown/creme color).
My roommate has all the living room furniture and will be moving it out, so there will be plenty of room to move in your living room and kitchen needs (TV, couch, chairs, desk, pots/pans).
I will be showing the apartment throughout the week, please call or email to arrange an appointment:

Roommate Requirements:
male or female, doesn't matter
All I ask from you: be respectful, trustworthy, relaxed, drama-free, compassionate, and outgoing
About me:
I moved to LA back in January. Originally I'm from the great state of Ohio but attended Emerson College in Boston and lived there for the past three and a half years; I graduated this past spring. Currently, I am working as an editorial PA at a trailer house in Hollywood called Seismic Productions. A career ambition of mine is to become a certified member of the DGA in the capacity of producing or post-production. I played NCAA DIII soccer for three years and continue playing the sport in an organized league in Manhattan Beach. I love being physically active. Other passions include music, film, cooking, wine, and travel.
I was lucky enough to have a great roommate these past six months. It really helped me with all the hardships and difficulties come with moving into a new city, a new environment like LA. Unfortunately, he'll be moving out Monday December 14th to move with his business partners. Can't say I really blame the guy: he'll be moving into a much bigger space that will allow them to do a much heavier office/business workflow. Our apartment here is really too small for that; it's a little too cozy for that operation to work. All this really does though is give me an excuse to meet another great person and to continue my fantastic living experience here in the city.
Cheers!
Salvatore
