Need a Job

I'm struggling to make ends meet and i need a 2nd job. Anyone out there have some work? I work Mon-Fri right now, and I get off work at 3:30. Anyone know of any place hiring for late afternoon / early evening shifts?

unfortunately, i think this is the case with a lot of people these days. ends are not wanting to be met.

There is a shooting range by Whittier Narrows Park called Triple B's. They used to hire people on the spot. I don't know if its the same these days, but its worth a try. They pay minimun wage. You work with your hands, outdoors. I'm sure they would work with your schedule.
They also have a diner & a pro shop...but if your a guy they'll most likely put your ass outside.

El Spaniard...I was taking a ride through Whittier Narrows one day, and I decided to stop at the shotgun range...to watch people shooting at clay pigeons. When I rode into the parking lot and dismounted my bike, some dumbass folded his shotgun and leveled it at me (in the parking lot). I walked to the office and told the manager about what happened. He said the person who aimed the shotgun at me is one of the 'instructors.' He said there was no ammunition and he was 'testing the sights.'
I was, as you can imagine, a bit angry. I left.
Anyways, I used to work at a shotgun range, too. Prado Tiro shotgun range in the Chino Basin. That was my second job. lols

there are also several corners in ur city with which for you to work...and if you need a manager....im ur gal....

I'm one reference check away from getting back into the work-force.
I was working straight for 5 years until I decided to take the gamble with the last, dick of an outfit I was working under.
The only thing I liked about the 1099-trucking outfit was that the yard was within spitting distance of all the rides going on.
Park the rig in the yard Friday, take the load home Sunday.
My next goal is to save up some funds and get myself situated in the Upland/Rancho area at the very least.
Work/Live down there, then take the train to Union Station.
But, the fact of the matter is, I get pretty damned depressed when I'm not working in some capacity.

there's a crusty kid outside a bar asking people for change. a rich older guy walks up and says "hey kid, i don't have any cash but i have a credit card. how about we go inside and i buy you a sandwich and a couple beers?"
delighted, the crusty and the old guy go inside, have a nice meal and some drinks and end up talking at the bar. the old guy says, "so i bought you dinner and drinks, how about a blowjob or something?"
the kid grabs the dude by the collar, takes him outside and beats the living shit out of him in the street and leaves him there. walks back into the bar and sits down. the bartender asks, "what the hell did that guy say to you, he bought you drinks, dinner, what did he say?" crusty kid says, "i don't know man, something about a job."

My composer friend I told you about is finally working a lot.
Doing music in a Silverlake studio for a few TV shows and some movie pitches.
Maybe you wanna touch base and you guise can help each other make some $$s.

I shot my first round of trap at Prado way back when.
Triple B's was an OK job. The co-workers were chill. The supervisors were chill. There was a lot of drug use at that job. I don't remember them drug testing anyone. I also know they used to re-hire people they had terminated out of desperation.
A lot of sitting down and rarely alot of standing up. Picked up about 2,000+ shotgun shells by hand while working there. Smoked about 50+ packs of cigarettes while working there, too.
