bike thefts around LACC/Bike District

i guess they have been hitting the college pretty hard and he came in last night to bike kitchen asked for information regarding the thefts and wanted to get the community involved.
dont want to say how much of a lead they already have but even if you have just been a victim in the area you can help them by establishing a profile (area, time of day, and manner in which they strike) if you do have some hard info though now is the time to speak up.
if any of you are intimidated, scared to speak up, or just hate the police and dont want to feel like a snitch come talk to me over at the kitchen (my name is moi im there wed nights) and i'll relay any info.
this is really good news everyone...unfortunately i dont think this is any kind of city wide initiative on the part of law enforcement....but lets put this guy to work and hopefully they can begin to see the larger implications that the thefts around this area have with the rest of LA.
