i hear (from a little blue bike birdie) that the F.U.N. Ride is happening after this and that they are going to have a meet to pick up ridazz coming from the East, from LACM !

VCM is gonna roll like normal.. oh so much funness!
and then the F.U.N. ride is going to meet up with ridazz who couldn't make it to VCM (saddnnesses)..
and then the F.U.N. ride (all brought to you by ROTW a few weeks ago, jonnyboy) will hit a point along their route where those that went to LACM can meet up and join the F.U.N. ride (which i hear is going to be full of awesomeness) !

The people's ride is for the East side and central LA riders who want to keep riding after LACM.
As always, it will probably ride through the traffic in Hollywood.
The F.U.N. ride is a west side ride, and though the west side has some great rides some of us have spent to much time west of the 405.
It's time to ride in our own hood for a change.

nevermind...it just said the rides were meeting up and i got all excited...but i can't go to the westside that late...so i will jsut say hi when y'all meet up with LACM...but will continue on to the PR

*******REGARDING THE F.U.N. RIDE***********
Anybody riding with LACM who wants to go to the F.U.N. ride can meet up at Constellation & Ave of the Stars by 10:35pm :) It is 6.5 miles due West of the LACM start point.

I will be heading the group from VCM to the start point of the F.U.N. ride (Sawtelle & Palms) from wherever VCM ends. Then the F.U.N. ride will roll straight to Constellation & Ave of the Stars to pick up any LACM folk who want to join us. THEN we start the F.U.N.!!!
The F.U.N. ride is obviously open to anyone- East siders included- but the idea is that the several West siders who like to attend LACM will have another option to ride more after LACM which will put them closer to home when the night ends. Not that people dislike riding home to the West side from Pan Pacific (I certainly do), but we've got a kickass route and we are going to hit some really fun downhill sections (mainly east of the 405). Like I said, if some of you East siders are looking to see some new remote West side locations, you'd probably really enjoy yerself!
Also I want to mention that the F.U.N. ride is mildly faster (because survey says a little bit faster is more fun) so beach cruisers are discouraged unless you can easily hold a 15-16mph pace. The rule of no rider left behind applies to flats, accidents, and other emergency situations, but if you are too slow and can't maintain the pace- you will most likely be dropped by the nights end. That said, I am a stickler for keeping the group tight because survey says that tighter is always more fun :)
There is a milk&cookies stop for every chill stop, and there are some wicked down / up / down rollercoaster roads (these occur early on before everyone gets too sauced!)
I am starting to get PUMPED!!
