oh ok now i see what the link was, na, the toe cap makes me feel my foot is to restricted now that i have the double strap, i have a different set of pedals with the cap and single straps, and that doesnt bother me having the cap there jsut with the double feels like my foots almost to locked in.

If your foot feels 'too locked in' then why don't you just loosen it?
I would think the point of straps is to feel 'locked in'.

What size toe clips are you using?
You may need a larger size. You can buy MKS toe clips in Large or XL for $10-15.
If you're not riding fixed gear, you may not need clips or straps at all, but if you're riding fixed, they're both pretty useful.
