however, i'm going to take one of the ride ideas and form a new ride that will happen sometime this next year, at a more suitable day, whenever the time is right

 these two i think could be worth doing again:

1. find locations where there have been hit-n-runs, base the route to pass by those locations

2. do lots of turns to learn about all the streets in an area (and get a hell of a workout) at every intersection turn, pick the direction with the closest intersection, rinse and repeat a hundred of more times
