I took mine to Orange 20 and they send it to Olympic. Take it apart yourself across the street first at the Bicycle Kitchen and save yourself the $80 O20 charges to do it.

Try and look up on Craigslist for students up at ucla or usc, can find it for pretty cheap. thanks again btw for those rims, she tripped when she came home and saw the sitting on her bike

Strip your bike at a co-op, then roll out to Mega Powder Coating in El Monte.
It's a bit of a trek, but they sandblast and powdercoat a bike for $60 in just about any color. (You may have to wait if you want an unusual color that they have to order, but they did a solid job for me.)
