 I'm also looking for a new road bike. Unfortunately, I need something pretty small, between 42-48cm. I've checked craigslist, but as everyone knows, it's pretty close to impossible to find small roadbikes that are in good condition but not too pricey.

 I have a De Rosa with Ultegra triple 9-spd, very nice wheels, aluminum frame carbon fork. You choice of bar width stem length and saddle, have a few to choose from.

Top tube center to center is 54cm
Seat tube center to center is 52.5 ceter to top of seat clamp is 56.5
