just FYI
there are blood banks and plasma centers around the LA area
30 bucks for a pint of blood (but u can do it only once every 2 months)
and
20 bucks for a pint of plasma (u can do it every 3 days but its a 3 hour process)

when i was like hella young, my buddy and i used to do it on fridays so we'd have money for beer and itd take like 2 beers for us to get drunk instead of 12 bc we were short on body fluids

the only drawback is that sometimes you may pass out and yo uhave to wait in a room full of junkies and homeless people. that and the fact that my mother would be furious if she found out i was whoring my blood.

the only thing that will prevent donation are fresh tattoos and if u have track marks.
oh and they take ur BP and sugar levels to make sure ur healthy.

I believe this is a blatant lie. When I donated blood in Canada I had to fill out a 4 page questionnaire with very specific questions about countries you may have visited between certain years, piercings, tatoos, drugs, illnesses, sexual history, surgeries... and then they test your blood for certain things. They almost didn't take mine because my iron level was borderline too low, but I was still able to donate. It took like half an hour though cuz my blood pressure was so low that it took forever to fill the bag.

i hate needles. dont trust them and dont like my blood being drawn out... it feels like a bit of your life goes with it. hate that feeling.
