something tells me those seat stays ride a bit rough on LA streets. ive seen lots of guys ride bikes like that at the velodrome, but ive never ridden one myself. still, for the price....

Make sure yours is straight and make you if its not you can send it back. my friend went thru 4 of these frames till he got a straight one. He worked at the bikeshop, so i dunno if its the same for a reg. customer.

It's times like these I hate being tall. That frame is too small for me long shanks.

Why does that track frame have rack mounts and cable guides?

how tall are you?
one thing about track frames is that their sizing isn't the same as road bikes because they have different geometry. so, if you typically take road bike like 65cm you can take ride a track frame that says something like 63 or 62.

to make it appealing to a wider audience, i guess. Or maybe it's more of a road bike ,but with track ends.

I'm 6'4 and really long in the legs. I have a 61 roadie right now and I'm showing like 8 inches of seat post.

if you have long legs then you may have a shorter torso. I'm 6'5" with more torso than legs. Having a lot of seat post isnt so bad if the frame accommodates your torso and you're comfortable. A bigger bike may make you feel stretched
