I need your help fellow cyclist
On the Nov. 7 FMLY TEST RIDE:
A Lady rear ended me in a Blk Mazda on this ride. And she is saying that i rode into her which is obviously not the case. But she has the people in her car as witness. So i need the help of all the riders who saw this. I just need just your names; but if you like you can also write 2 to 3 sentences saying you saw the lady rear end me if you like or just describe what you saw.
Thank you

If she rear ended you, how is it even possible you ran into her?

reply
it may not be "possible" or "logical," but that doesn't prevent a person or group from making the claim anyway.

I saw the entire thing. We rode to the second stop together because you were late to the start and I was waiting for a friend and I saw her hit you. She was behind you and as the group started to pull forward at the light she pulled forward ready to run into the group (who were obeying traffic laws and in the right lane and waiting at the light) and she hit you. I was standing next to you when it happened.
im 99.9% sure that this is the right thing to be talking about, I didn't read any other comments, if its wrong, please excuse me. If im right, then I hope this helps!

you: black, 5'11ish, wearing cleats, riding a very nice cannondale, full spandex.
her: dark car, threeor four people in the car total, she was black tried to move the car a few times, but me and another rider stood in front of it so she couldnt move,
this was on the first FMLY ride. If i remember correctly, you dislocated your shoulder and were trying to get it popped back in before the medics came.
if this is you, email me to get my phone number.

Id love to help out, I saw what happened and saw the aftermath, and saw--first hand, the lady trying to leave and pin the blame.

Hey Jason, I was the dude that bought you a bag of ice for your shoulder. Unfortunately I don't think I can be of much help since I arrived at the scene moments after you were hit.
While I was glad to see that other riders were stopping the driver from fleeing the scene, I was a little perturbed to see that nobody else was looking after the rider and you were all alone on the corner, writhing in pain.
C'mon people. Getting plates and descriptions is valuable, but the most important thing to do after an accident is TAKE CARE OF THE VICTIM.
As riders we need to put as much energy into aiding our injured friends as we do getting angry at the motorists that hit them.

Two Wheel thank you so much for the bag of ice and even a short statement saying you saw her trying to leave the scene would help.
thanks again
