The 1st and only Nishiki Ride

Hello. I've been going to midnight ridazz rides for a while but I don't think I have ever introduced myself here. My name is David. You may have seen me at c.r.a.n.k. mob on a fixed gear folding bike. My favorite part of midnight ridazz is freakin' out squares. I'm an introverted artist-type person and I thank midnight ridazz for helping me be a little more social. I'm a photographer too so I am also grateful for all of the amazing moments I see on every ride I do. I have a score to settle with the Wolfpack Hustle... I'm back in shape and out of school, so bring it.
I've had this idea for a Nishiki ride for a while. I apologize if it's not really the first, but I thought the name had a had ring to it. The Nishiki is the Honda Civic of bikes. The are cheap, plentiful, and they make the best urban beater bikes ever. I got my first Nishiki from a dumpster fell in love. They aren't the best looking or handling bikes but they always get the job done. Since I see a lot of these bikes around town so I wonder if there's enough people down to have a good sized ride. This ride is a celebration of these wonderful bikes, but of course everyone is welcome.

I'm going to be a shameless self-promoter and bump this thread. This ride is in 5 days and it's the first one I've organized. Excuse my n00bishness, but I didn't put the link in the ride positing. It will start at the old crank mob park, by the way.

I had a brown Nishiki road bike for most of the 90's.
I bought it used and rode the hell out of it. Other than flats, that bike never broke down.
I donated it to Goodwill years ago, but wish I still had it. It would have made a great single speed.
Maybe one of you folks are riding it now?
