I was riding home from a party at 1:00 am and some fucking kids did a "drive by" on me with paintball guns and drove away. Now i got two welts on my ass... thanks a lot. Watch out for these guys. Unfortunately, i don't think any of us can do anything about that kind of behavior.

Well, even if they do try and haul ass to get away, some of the rounds will be quick enough to hit them.
And by the time they turn around, either face them down, or lose them and let them make asses of themselves trying to find you.

I say you go and file a police report and if it happens again, call the police right then and there. It was probably just some dumb kids being assholes, but driving around Los Angeles with shooting something that looks like a gun could actually get somebody shot for real.
I know first hand that police really hate this type of shit.

LIZZARD - this happened to me while I was jogging at USC, 4 kids in an SUV pulled up alongside and at the time, I thought they threw an egg at me. But it was actually a paintball pellet, which, I found out could be considered assault w/ a deadly weapon - they can do serious damage at close range. I reported it to both campus police and LAPD, I gave out the full license plate number.
In my case, neither police force did shit, but you should still report it. You never know, other people that same night may have reported being attacked by the same dumbasses, so maybe there is some concrete evidence out there, or a plate number.

There is always the possibility that what you do, if anything, will turn out positive.
I was shot by a guy with a pellet gun. I was riding with the badger song, and a truck pulled up along the front group. A passenger in the truck leaned out and shot me with a pellet gun.
I didn't report it. I should have, because a few days later, three young men were brought up on over 60 charges of vandalism for shooting out the windows of cars.

You've got to admit though, if you were the one shooting paint balls at people you'd be laughing your ass off the whole time.
I got egged on a Spoke(n) Art ride and it was funny.
Of course, if I'd have been able to catch up to that truck full of jack asses, I would have slashed their tires and done some stupid things.

Downtown Culver City, Around Washington + Sepulveda.
Looked like one of the kids i saw was Latino in a small black car. They were laughing their asses off by the way.

as fucked up as it is, i've done shit like that when I was younger, not like I ever did something I never had done to me. I dunno what kind of teens you all were, but me and my buddies used make home made tazers and crap like that for fun....
