BIKE TRAILER COLLECTION

Of many moments I can say I am proud of (and some equally of the opposite) I would have to say pulling the music trailer for the rides is of one of the most satisfying. And I, as those all who have shared the honor, thankfully appreciate those who make it a point to let us know (in detail, where and what streets, if not all of the playlist) they enjoyed hearing favorite(s) bands aptly blaring out down the city streets of L.A.
The music is for all of us!!!!!!
As of this moment the trailer is nonfunctioning and in desperate need of some repairs and replacements. Harry and BBD are dutifully giving it attention at this moment to see if they can get it up and running for tomorrows RWNN (fingers crossed). Is once again time for our support!!!!!!!
I will be collecting donations to help in keeping this trailer ''a thumping (KUDOS TO HARRY- and total respect for unselfishly covering repairs to date!). Please help in giving one or two dollars if you can. A year and 1/2 ago I collected over $100 dollars from us and was totally stoked to recieve such love and support. I will keep you all updated on totals collected each night as well as cost of parts that are anticipated. One of which is of course the trailer itself. It is showing cracks around the already welded patchwork from previous sodoring repairs, eventually it will have to be replaced.
THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT.

Really?
Money for a trailer that plays music?
Is it really worth it?
I mean come on, who benefits from this?
Doesn’t everyone have mp3 players w/ headphones by now?
This trailer, isn't it heavy as well? I’m sure as hell not a strong enough rida to survive.
I mean really, so it been on a couple of rides, big deal, not more than a few people have heard it, right? Who cares?
Has it ever made you smile? Sing-along? Bounce up-n-down on your pedals while rollin?
How many times? Can you count them? Do you have photos? Video?
This sound trailer, what's so special about it, if anything?
What has it ever done to you?
Was it the 1st of its type in the LA Bicycling Community?
Stats Ridazz!
I want stats...
How many years has it been in service?
How many miles traveled?
How many kilometers?
How many rides has it been on?
What ride has it been on?
How many protests/Marches has it been a part of, getting the spoken word out there?
Just how many Songs have been played on rides?
Who can be credited for pulling it on a ride?
How many repairs already?
How many new batteries?
How many times has the trailer/rider been hit by another Bike?
How many hit by a Car?
How many times has the wheel come off mid ride?
How many flats suffered?
How many accidents avoided because the car driver was alerted to us by the sound?
How many tickets for noise violations?
How many smiles have been produced by it's use in the streets and
parking lots ALL OVER Los Angeles and BEYOND?
How many people taking the time to suggest great songs to induce a pleasurable ride?
How many DJ’s taking the time to come up with Killer song lists infusing the right song at the right time on the right ride?
How many people have been BLOWN AWAY with ear piercing, chest pounding stunning power?
How many people care?
I mean really?
Is it worth it?
How many?
Go on... guessing and approximation will suffice.
Don't bother getting worked up and lighting a flame, spend time counting, not blasting me, I'm just trying to get you to think positively about your memories. Then, if you can, kick in & help keep it going!! I believe it is worth it!
I not only support this project, I'm a co-founder. The amplifier was mine. Last year I bought a smaller one for my bike. A Roland Cube Street. I can play mp3's, use a mic and play a guitar at the same time on 6 AA batteries. For those of you who have not been on a sound system bike on a group ride: It is spectacular to bring the music/joy to ridazz and beyond!
