is that the only time that they will be talking about this topic only?

reply
not sure.... but it's prolly the only time a bunch of people will be going all at once to the bev hills city council regarding this topic. it makes the most impact when there is a focused effort.

Bikeside & the Bike Writers Collective invite you to Storm the Bastille, in Beverly Hills. February 16th, at 7:00 pm we visit Beverly Hills City Council to let them know they should be treating cyclists better.
In December Brandon Chau was hit by a motorist in Beverly Hills, who fled the scene. Another motorist followed the fleeing driver, and got their license & make & model. Because Brandon was busy hitting the ground, he wasn't able to identify the driver in a line up. So, Beverly Hills PD - the most highly paid police force in the state - dropped the case.
That's unacceptable - would BHPD drop the case because a victim who was killed in a hit & run couldn't identify the driver? Let's go to Beverly Hills City Council and let them know this is a unprofessional and sloppy way to handle Hit & Run cases.
February 16th, 7pm
Beverly Hills City Council, Rm. 400

Very optimistic Borfo but I doubt the meeting went that well.
In fact I can think of very few things in the univers that have gone as well as this photo.

Very few things indeed.
We got a good vocal response, in fact it was the best I've seen of any City Council. It remains to be seen if any actions will be taken. I'm not getting my hopes up.
