Help with Bike Bags

I'm going to take a few days and ride down highway 1 from salinas thru big sur to slo or if in the mood, to la. anyone have suggestions for bike bags on a roadbike. i'm thinking either a set of panniers or front and back bags. probably won't camp so don't need something so large that will need to fit sleeping bag and tent.
opinions?

Axiom Monsoon bags should due... depending on when you're leaving, you can get them from Tree Fort Bikes for a good deal.
Might take a week and half to get them. But if you spend $125 total, they'll ship free and you dont pay tax. ebikestop has a cool deal right now too on shipping.

A bit pricey, but really worth it.. I totally love my bags. I got the T-42s, and my bf got me the bug backpack.

4 days, 3 nights, approximately 280 miles trip i took during the summer.
this setup worked pretty good for me. I also had small bag in front .
