LA to RIVERSIDE

Since I'm too lazy to Google stuff.. Too lazy to look at an actual map made out of paper.. I figure that I'd just ask all you knowledgeable bike-lings if any one had a good route to get from Downtown L.A. to Downtown Riverside.
I know, I know. WTF is out in Riverside that I would want to bike there instead of standing next to a more than over-filled Port-O-John, taking a deep breath, and recalling memory triggered via my olfactory senses? Wait.. That's Chino.. Screw it.. Once your passed Vegisoul, the rest of this car obsessed, OMG Britney lost custody concerning, watch too much T.V., forgot to vote town.. It's all the same..
Oh so..
Any routes to get to Riverside from Downtown L.a...
That would be radtacular..

Only valid route I would know of is taking any road parallel to the 210, and getting onto Foothill.
Take Foothill all the way east(40-50miles?) until you get to San Berdo. Run into Waterman, or Mt Vernon, or hell, even Etiwanda, and take one of those South about 20 miles.
That will put you right in the direction of Riverside as close to my off the top knowledge goes.

did this ride a year ago but from riverside to LA....

its not the best route but it was relatively flat and drama/traffic free for a saturday...also if you are savy with the santa fe dam you could rock the san gabriel river all the way to beverly through montebello and then i think 3rd through east la (carefull though theres construction going on for the brown line extension...err i mean gold line)
one warning though...find out what the wind situation is cause i had head winds the whole time.

Checking out the ride you posted now...looks glorious.
I'm visiting my mom for her birthday, while Rich goes to visit his pappy. I'll just take Mission to where it turns into Van Buren, ride that to Arlington, then down to Tyler to where she lives.
Excellent route! It'll run about 70 miles or so. Looks fun! Thank you!!!!

Leaving in 15 minutes to do this. I'm gonna take 4th street through East LA and Montebello, hop on Beverly, and take the Bike Path up to Live Oak.
