Subject: Fwd: Bikes stolen on Berendo St.- Pls. Forward to all Los Feliz neighbors.
Folks,
Someone came into our backyard at 2234 N. Berendo St. (between Vermont and Catalina) and took three bikes from our garage sometime between 12 noon Tuesday, March 2 and Thursday, March 4 at 10am. The garage was closed and locked. We think they took them out while we were asleep. Yikes!
I'm sending this to folks who live in the few miles around us. You're all out and about the neighborhood and many of you are familiar with our bikes. Some of you regularly bike around the city or join Midnight Ridazz. Please call us if you see a bike that could be ours, we'll come check it out.
Thanks for keeping an eye out.

Just in case you see them, here's a description.
Missing:
1- Dark red Carbon Fiber custom 48cm Calfee Luna Pro similar to this one: But without the word "Calfee" on the down tube. Mine is dark red. Serial Number: 48PO803
2-Michael's 1999 Gary Fisher Bontrager mountain Bike was also stolen. It looks very much like this with the same paint job:
3-Michael's blue 1997 Raleigh R700 road bike (ten speed with drop handlebars) was also stolen. Raleigh bikes are rare around here. If you see a blue Raleigh, please call us and tell us where it is.
It's a "Nordic Blue Doppler" with an aftermarket Carbon Fiber front fork and clipless pedals. I can't find a picture of it, but it has a lot of reflective tape all over it. This was our number one loaner bike and many friends have used it over the years! So sad to lose it!
Please let us know if you have any information about this incident, thanks.

Perhaps there's a connection to your lost wheel? You might want to mention it.
