Thought some one here would be savvy on this topic, but is there a law that requires employers of a certain size to have showers?
I'm tired of being the stinky guy at work...
It seems to me there is such a law, but no place I ever worked at had a shower because the law made them put it in.
At places I've worked that didn't have a shower, I keep a wash cloth, towel, soap etc. in a bag stashed somewhere and warsh up at the sink.
This works just fine.
I mean, you're sweaty, not dirty.
I am dirty though :( haha
Yeah, I've gotten pretty comfortable with standing half naked in the men's room cleaning up, it's just in my efforts to convince others to bike to work, they're like "there ain't no showers here foo"
So, just wanted to do a little research before I hit up or facilities dept.

there's a loophole in the law. something like if the office is being built, showers need to be included. but if the office is taking over a space without a shower, no showers need to be built

(LAMC 12.221A16) Provides for the inclusion of bicycle parking and employee showers in the new buildings 10,000 square feet or more.
jajaja i made an albañil guy build a shower at my work cause he owed me some dollahs. but before that i would use denatured ALCOHOL and RAGS in le-stinky situations but i always keep those handy anyway cause they are just good to have for utilitarian purposes.
