celebrity caught driving in bike lane

Paris Hilton was caught driving in the bike lane to "pass slower drivers" and all she gets is "unsafe passing". It's good that no cyclists were next to her cause she most likely would have hit them. Celebrity or not, drivers who cross into the bike lane should be treated like carpool violators...minimum $500 fine. Preaching to the choir i know, but definitely gonna send a nice letter to city council.

Problem is celebrities never have to pay for their sins. She will have her lawyers fight it. Didn't she get caught DUI a while ago? How does she still have her license? Celebrity immunity.

She did get a dui a while ago and then was caught while on driving probation...that was that whole 45 days in jail but really was just booking and release. But sadly, that was not even cause she was rich...it's our crowded jails...a normal person with no other record, would have the same thing happen (99% of the time). It's drivers like her that will never learn a lesson and will always make their getting to wherever they are going, their number one priority and not sharing the road with others.
