No Ho Sprints February 11th 2009

It was cold but not wet as the clouds lifted and the night was clear.
With hopes of attracting bicykillers and wolfpack not materializing , due to impending rain the race was run by the hard core that showed up
RBI and Yetiman decided it was not good for the body to race in cold weather and posponed their showdown till next month.
And anyway RBI wanted to go home and watch Lost with Liz.
Dedicated was ready as he was spinning down the track and staying sorta warm but there was no challengers in the pro class and Dedicated18 was awared valuable points toward the series finally this Summer.
The super spin race was held and It was Rocky and Juno in the Main.
Rocky poped out in front and a great effort by Juno fell short.
I think top rpm was at least 150....It was blurry to just watch
'High' spirts prevailed and hopes for a warm March was on my mind as we all left and went our ways.
Next race March 11th 9 pm

Pro Class points are close as Dedicated818 has moved into third with RBI second and Yetiman still manitains his lead .
By the time the final tally is in ,it looks like the Championship is still very much up for grabs.
ps Yeti is now building frames in his new digs down town and is taking orders shortly. He is a certified aircraft welder and in most any meterial......Can you say Berillium?
