Last night made me think and sent a strong message .. Not to take away from RWNN thunder (My Favorite ride besides MNR).. basically any of us in any situation are targets to get our bikes stolen with force and all of us should ban together. No rider should ever be alone going to or leaving any ride EVER .... granted we posted in a ruff area .. but still ... this rule should apply to any ride. Im still kinda new to the community but if someone needs to say it I will .... We all need to be one ... put your beef, baby mama drama ,my bike is better, mickey mouse bs, I rep this part of town behind you and lets look out for each other .... I post out of boredom on the forums a lot at work but FUCK THIS .. to many of use are getting hit and stolen .. we are way to deep in numbers to deal with problem as individuals. I normally don't post anything like this but people really need to understand that at any point you can get your bike stolen. I hope people don't pass this over and really understand we are targets nice bike or not ...... Im even more pumped for Bike Beta because we all need to cover .. talk your troll nonsesne I said what I have to say (microphone hits hits the ground) tap tap ........................................

This is how Cruss Mob was born - not letting any of our friends ride back home alone or inebriated. We just "stuck" together, forming puddles of Cruss.

In the era of Westward Expansion, this was also known as "circling the wagons".
Except this time the Comancheros aren't packing longbows or lever-action long-guns.

Even tho i hate you with a pssion John i have to agree with you and I think rides should post what areas they plan to go to with out giving out the route or stops .... no everyone can ride all night into bad areas or go to far to bust a mission back home all alone! well just my thoughts :D

EXACTLY! alot of rides just say "come and see" or just keep the route a secret but not everybody can go that far safely.... everyone has their own agendas, i think the ride postings should at least say the neighborhoods we'll be visiting

That's weird. During RWNN, after the guy got hit people started screaming let's go fuck the guy up etc etc. After a shot was fired everyone started screaming get on your bikes we gotta get outta here. Talk about sticking together.

Great point OsnapsonJC,
its not possible for everybody to team up going to and from rides. But we can definitely make more of an effort and make it more of a priority.
Also ... for the millionth time (and this is for everybody)
Think about the people BEHIND YOU rather than chasing the people that are riding off the front.
People who are slower, on slower bikes, and are less experienced have a much greater chance of being stuck and alone, than the kids who want to be in the front jamming every light. Besides fast people can stop and wait for the ride a lot easier than slow folks can catch up.
Stragglers are real targets because the big ride grabs so much attention.
I saw this very thing lead to a bike jacking off the back of a very stretched out sins and sprockets.
Slow down, look behind you. Take the red light as a chance to group up.
10 rides of 30 people is much better than one ride of 275 + a bunch of random stragglers trying to catch up.

You need not be the fastest in the group.
just faster than the slowest riders to survive.

I tell people the areas we're going to if they ask me at the ride. I am hesitant to do so in email to someone I don't know or listing it on the ride posting. I may start to put the farthest in each direction we will be going though....There's no way to prove it but we need to assume that the police monitor the site and no reason to give them a heads up on our directions or plans. That may be my paranoia but I do know they plan(ned) on sending undercover officers to the rides to figure out how the whole "bike scene" works.
When other rides post the routes....it's no wonder the cops are at each stop some of the times as we roll in.

Good points, trickmilla.
This has probably been discussed before, but...
Wouldn't it make sense to have someone designated to trail the ride with walkie-talkie or phone contact with the front? Sometimes, rides start falling apart when a simple 60 second stop to regroup is all that's needed.
If the trailing person requests a regroup, the ride leader(s) could make this happen very smoothly by announcing "REGROUP! Pull over to the right for 1 minute!" with the message passed back verbally by the riders.
Often times when a regroup is done, it happens at an intersection without warning and the entire street ends up being blocked with riders standing in the middle of the street.
On big rides that normally would leave your ass behind, there should be a 5 minute rule or something like that. The trailing person could request a 5 minute stop to try and fix someone's flat or whatever. If the fix isn't going to happen in 5 minutes, then the broke down biker can call a friend for a pick-up or get a phone number of the trailing person to find the ride later.
Sorry if this topic has been discussed already. I am relatively new here compared to most of you and so I am just voicing my perspective based on my limited experience with these rides.
