Oh, hello, everyone!
I'm trying my hand at organizing a ride.
My friends and I have an annual picnic to celebrate (take advantage of?) the Japanese festival of hanami. Basically, we hang out at Balboa Lake and eat and drink. This year I decided to host a ride from NoHo to the picnic.
The purpose of this thread is to:
- Invite everyone.
- Welcome input / advice.
Ride posted here. I know it's the same day as the Glow Ride, but our picnic usually winds down mid-day so you have plenty of time to hit both if you want.
For the record: anyone who can't (or doesn't want to) do the ride, everyone is still welcome to the picnic. Orange Line friendly!

I scouted the route today, fixed some crappy parts, added a good part or two, and cut out parts that were impossible, stupid or dangerous for various reasons.
I'm pretty happy with it. Most of it is freshly paved! Only a few rough spots. One or two tough left turns but I guess you can't win 'em all.
The part through Valley College... is different than it will actually be due to construction on campus. Pay no mind to the route passing through buildings.
We have route.
