The NEW RIDE, type E!!

one may wonder, what exactly is the new ride? what's so new about it? what makes this ride so special that I should come to it? what's new about the new ride is new destinations. new streets. new neighborhoods. and new parks. every new ride you'll first you'll find yourself riding down a major boulevard then BAM you turn on a neighborhood street with incredible mansions then out of nowhere youre smashing down a crazy hill at 45 mph and before you know it you're hiking with your bike with everyone to the top of a mountain where you get the most incredible view of this fine city. then again you're coasting down hills and riding on little walkways in between freeways and bike paths and riding around lakes and canals taking every interesting pathway there possibly could be until you pay attention and realize you're already back to the start point.
The new ride is an ADVENTURE ride. where you'll not only discover new places in this city but new friends and incredible views. see
here and
here for a little idea. and for this 5th ride, type E, i have some very interesting plans brewing.....
we're probably gonna switch the meeting spot for this one from Pan Pacific Park to
Echo park. from there, we'll ride on fun pathways through
Elysian park, to one of the most incredible views of downtown, then heading a couple miles north to
Ernest
E debs park, where we'll hike up some fire roads to chill on the lake and stare in awe at the views of
East and north
East LA. Then ride back down
Eastern Ave. through
El Sereno back through downtown to echo park again. around only 17 miles, at a moderate pace with constant regroups so NO RIDER GETS LEFT BEHIND. gears and brakes are recommended, but if you must take your fixie, you'll still survive fine.
no exact date set yet but it will be some saturday night in march and this will be a MoM RiDaZ sponsored event.
and this ride will be nothing without you there. so come and check it out!
more info coming soon....!

the capitalized "E's" in the last big paragraph were supposed to in bold.
all the destinations reflect the letter of the rides name :]

IN ALL HONESTY, IT'S MORE OF A POND. AND THE ASPHALT UP THERE IS WIDE AND SUPER SMOOTH, AND WE CAN ALL HIDE IN THE TREES FROM EACH OTHER.

hell yes, but it is a fairly large pond and it is at the top of a mountain (maybe not necessarily a mountain..... more of a hill but a large hill) where you can see the whole city..... it's a sick spot, you already know what i'm talkin about mang. especially coming down from the mountain, the road is like a quarter mile down and it is straight and flat..... and you traverse the whole distance down the mountain in about 15 seconds..... that's a little exaggeration but i know a friend has reached 45 mph coming down this hill....
lets just say, you dont want to miss this one

Epic Ride,
It took us a little to long to get going but once we did it was well worth it.
I had to bail out in highland park to go find some food.
I'll be posting pictures soon.
